A large workshop. A wide variety of machines. New technical challenges every day.Are you the mechanic who wants to know what is really wrong?

A machine stops.

You don't simply wait for someone to tell you what to do.

You investigate. You listen. You look. You test. You take things apart. You find the cause and work out how to get the machine running again.

If you enjoy solving technical problems and want to work in an environment where there is always something new to discover, we want to meet you.

A workplace full of machines and technology

You will join a large and professional machine-building and engineering environment with a wide variety of machines, installations and automated systems.

The company works for many different clients and is involved in different engineering and machine-building projects. That means you will be exposed to a broad range of technology and technical challenges.

What will you do?

As a Maintenance Technician, you will help keep the machinery and installations running reliably.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Investigating mechanical faults and breakdowns
• Finding the root cause of technical problems
• Repairing and improving machinery
• Working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes and automated systems
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting mechanical and technical issues
• Working closely with technicians, engineers and operators
• Helping improve machine reliability and performance
• Developing your knowledge of electrical and automation systems
• Sharing your technical knowledge with colleagues

We are not looking for someone who only follows a checklist.

We are looking for someone who sees a problem and thinks:

"Let me find out what is causing this."

Who are we looking for?

You have a strong mechanical background and enjoy working with machines.

You are:

• Hands-on and practical
• Curious about how machines work
• A natural problem solver
• Comfortable working independently
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty
• Someone who enjoys taking things apart and understanding how they work
• Eager to learn new technology
• A team player who enjoys helping colleagues

Experience in mechanical maintenance, automotive, manufacturing, logistics, machine building or mechatronics is welcome.

You don't need to know everything.

We are looking for the right mindset and technical curiosity.

What do we offer?

• Salary up to €4,600 gross per month, depending on experience
• Up to 30% shift allowance
• 27 vacation days
• Holiday allowance
• Overtime compensation
• Travel allowance
• Paid technical training
• A large, clean and professional working environment
• A wide variety of machines and technical systems
• Experienced colleagues and engineers to work with
• Opportunities to develop your technical skills
• Long-term career opportunities

Why this job?

Because you won't be doing the same thing every day.

One day you may be investigating a gearbox problem. The next, you could be troubleshooting a conveyor, working on an automated system or helping solve a mechanical issue in a machine-building project.

You will be surrounded by technology, experienced technicians and different engineering challenges.

If you are the mechanic who doesn't simply wait for instructions, but wants to understand how things work and find the solution yourself, this could be your next step.
