Your opportunities as SCADA Consultant at Capgemini Engineering

In this role, you will support an energy client in the region of Arnhem Nijmegen with optimizing their SCADA platform. Purpose is to ensure the network can run longer and greener, and improves analyses of energy consumption. You will be responsible for the overall system in terms of functional specifications, implementing applications or security, and monitoring them. If you have network protocol knowledge, activities could also extend to system communications.

To be successful in this role, it is important to have knowledge about EMS and SCADA, as well as experience in working with complex IT systems. As you are an external consultant, we expect strong relationship management skills. Visibility among client colleagues and asking questions to clarify requirements are essential to complete the project successfully. Furthermore, Dutch language proficiency is preferred, but not required.

Finally, please note that due to the energy regulations, this position can only be filled by EU passport holders. As you are working with sensitive infrastructure, a background screening through the AIVD is also required.
