Job description

Over deze functie


  • You define and lead the design quality, safety and reliability strategy across the full product lifecycle.
  • You act as the go-to quality expert for multidisciplinary R&D teams, guiding design controls, risk management and system-level decisions.
  • You translate field and post-market data into concrete design and process improvements.
  • You ensure products meet regulatory, quality and reliability standards before release, with confidence backed by data and testing.

  • Strong systems engineering background (system & subsystem level thinking), reliability knowledge.
  • Hands-on requirements definition, decomposition and traceability.
  • Active involvement in Design Control during R&D (design reviews, trade offs).
  • Risk assessment mindset ((d)-FMEA).
  • Verification, validation & reliability thinking (define test strategies).
  • Engineering partner to R&D - coach and influencer, not a gatekeeper.

  • A gross monthly salary between €6,000 and €8,000 (excluding 8% holiday allowance), depending on your knowledge and experience.
