System Test Engineer

Our client Philips is looking for a young talented professional that is able develop into a system tester quickly.

The main thing that they are looking for is someone who is tech-savy and enthusiastic about their products and the test domain. Someone who is willing to invest in a long-term relationship with Philips in which they can challenge him/her as part of his/her personal development.

They test software for medical devices. These are software applications, but they run integrated with an X-ray system (Azurion). So while they test these applications, the workflows used are using the complete system. Therefore they are looking for a system tester.

You will be a part of the V&V team of iApps in the Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Cluster R&D organization. A team of highly skilled people in the verification, usability and validation domain. They are located in Best, The Netherlands, and collaborate with other teams globally. They make sure their products exhibit an excellent user experience and support physicians to provide the best treatment in the most demanding conditions, from cardiovascular to oncological and neurological treatment. They are a solution-based, customer-needs driven organization, working seamlessly across organizations to build the IGT of the future!

This is a 3 year paid program. You will develop your soft skills with Yacht and your technical skills with Philips. After the 3 years, you will switch to a Philips contract. 

The talent will, when properly trained, use these tools: ALM, Azure Devops, WindChill PTC RV&S, GITTest automation: Gherkin/SpecFlow

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Master in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related field with an average of around 8/10 or 3/4
• Maximum 2 years of experience after graduation
• High quality standards and a strive for continuous improvement
• Taking ownership with a pro-active mindset
• Eager to learn, both in the clinical and testing domain
