Introduction

Imagine: you walk whistling across the yard, spot a trailer with a loose air hose, grab your tools and fix it like it's nothing. You make sure everything drives, rolls and keeps running. Broken lights? Need a new tyre? You spot it before anyone else notices. We are looking for a handy Harry (or Harriet) who knows how to get to work and feels at home among steel, wheels and colleagues with a dry sense of humour. Sounds like your cup of tea? Nice. Organization

No open-plan offices or endless meetings at Distrifresh, but fresh outdoor air, colleagues who roll up their sleeves and a workplace where down-to-earthness is the norm. The atmosphere? Nice and informal. You just tell it like it is, help each other where necessary and there is at least as much laughter as work. Perseverance is paramount, but a good joke now and then makes the work just that little bit more fun.

Function

You will be the lifesaver for a fleet of some 240 trailers. If anything squeaks, creaks or dangles, you will be on standby. You tinker, repair and make sure everything is in good shape again. Think about replacing fenders, fixing lights, checking tyres and keeping the terrain tidy. In short: you keep things running. Literally.

Job Requirements

What do you need to be able to do?

• You have two right hands (and if you are also a good joker, bonus points);
• You know how to handle tools and are not afraid of a little grease on your hands;
• Speaking Dutch or English is no problem for you;
• You like working full-time and enjoy being outdoors.

Offer

• A solid hourly wage of €15 (neat, right?);
• Overtime? We tick those off at 150% if you work over 38 hours or on Saturdays;
• After 6 months, you get an extra 13th month. That's always nice with the holidays;
• You work day shifts from 07:30 to 16:20-so in the evening you are nice and free;
