As a Prototype Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for assembling, adjusting, inspecting, and testing newly developed machines, systems, and sub-modules.

In this role, you apply your knowledge of manufacturability and assembly processes to ensure product quality. You work closely with a team to realize new products and are responsible for assembling systems, often without detailed work instructions. Throughout this process, you play a key role as a mechanical technician, contributing to a wide range of mechatronic products.

Your future workplace

This is what you bring to the table

A completed MBO (vocational) degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience.

Experience with precision mechanics and mechatronics as applied in high-tech instruments and equipment.

Experience in assembling, installing, adjusting, and testing mechatronic systems or modules, preferably in prototype machine building.

Experience reading mechanical engineering drawings, preferably created in NX, including 3D models and technical drawings.

Experience manufacturing parts on lathes and milling machines, both conventional and CNC, is considered an advantage.

You are resourceful, creative, independent, and enthusiastic.

You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written, and possess strong communication skills.
