As a Control Systems Designer, you will develop and optimize high-performance control and motion solutions for complex mechatronic systems. You will work on challenging technical problems where dynamic behaviour, precision, and system performance are key. Through modelling, simulation, and advanced control engineering, you will ensure systems perform at their highest level. Together with multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver innovative and reproducible solutions for advanced high-tech applications.

What will you do?

Design and optimize advanced control algorithms for high-precision mechatronic systems.

Develop and validate dynamic models and simulations to predict and improve system behaviour.

Create motion control and path planning strategies for complex trajectories and highly dynamic systems.

Analyze system performance and implement improvements based on simulation and test results.

Optimize control strategies and motion performance within complex technical systems.

Translate innovative concepts into robust, scalable, and reproducible solutions.

Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, and software engineers to deliver integrated system solutions.

You are analytical, driven, and energized by solving complex technical challenges. You can translate theoretical models into practical applications and are comfortable analyzing sophisticated systems from multiple perspectives. You work in a structured manner, communicate effectively, and enjoy collaborating with specialists from various engineering disciplines to achieve the best possible technical solutions.

In addition, you have:

A Master's degree or PhD in Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Experience in designing advanced control algorithms and control systems.

Experience with dynamic modelling, simulations, and system optimization.

Knowledge of motion control and path planning for complex technical systems.

Experience within high-tech industries such as semiconductor equipment, robotics, positioning systems, or laser-based communication systems.

Strong communication skills and a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Must live in Netherlands, within 50 km of Eindhoven.
