Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will be working on site at our outsourced warehouse in Heijen, the Netherlands. You will fulfill a key position with the aim of ensuring our Mini-Finish and assembly services can be executed by our 3PL. Within the Mini-Finish area you will solve issues, ensure first level support, identify, implement and drive improvements. 
 Your main tasks will be: 

• Ensure seamless Mini-Finish operations 
• First contact onsite support for Mini Finish issues, provide hands-on support and troubleshooting of Mini-Finish issues. 
• Work with the wider METTLER TOLEDO global network for 2nd and 3rd level support topics 
• Perform process analysis and ensure identified improvements 
• Perform IT soft-/hardware updates related to Mini -Finish. 
• Conduct preventive maintenance to our Mini-Finish devices.nts are implemented in collaboration with the 3PL 
• Maintain the local IT network and troubleshoot if required.
• Ensure global alignment of used processes and tools 
• Support and drive continuous improvement campaigns and trainings 
• Develop, establish and maintain standards (SOPs, WIs) in a close cooperation between 3PL and METTLER TOLEDO

What You Need to Succeed

• You have a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering or another related subject. 
• Minimum 2 years of work experience as a manufacturing engineer within an industrial environment, a production environment or a supply chain environment. 
• IT knowledge of networks and related troubleshooting skills 
• Understanding of business processes and technical demands.
• Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving skills 
• Knowledge of standard tools 8D/CAPA. 
• Knowledge of SAP. 
• Able to work with MS-Office (Outlook, Power Point and Excel).
• English language skills speaking and writing (must). German and Dutch language skills are a plus.
