Employment agency Manpower is looking for a Cost Analyst for Dow in Terneuzen.

As a Cost Analyst for Maintenance Projects, you are the financial backbone of large-scale technical shutdowns, also known as turnarounds. You work closely with engineering, planning, and procurement teams to ensure budgets are accurate, realistic, and aligned with the project's goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Creating cost estimates based on technical scopes, historical data, SAP plans, and vendor quotes
• Forecasting total project costs and providing headcount estimates for external services
• Monitoring financial progress and reporting deviations, risks, and variances (>10%)
• Accurately processing purchase orders, invoices, and cost entries in SAP
• Supporting project closure with final reports and financial analysis
• Continuously improving planning data and cost models based on real project outcomes

• Minimum of two years of experience in cost control, finance, turnaround management, or project estimating

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus
• A proactive and structured work approach
• Accuracy, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to make decisions independently
