Job description

About the Role:

As a Project Optimization Engineer within the Utility & Facility team you will play a key role in driving efficiency, reliability, and performance improvements across site infrastructure. This position is based on-site in Olst and focuses on optimizing utility systems and facility operations to support pharmaceutical manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support optimization projects related to utilities and facility systems.
  • Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement in energy efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and production.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Support commissioning and qualification activities for upgraded or new systems.
  • Provide technical expertise during design, installation, and operational phases.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Proven experience in utility and facility engineering within the pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, validation, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
