Description

We are looking for a Senior Procurement professional, who is interested in running procurement independently and shape the role to the next level. You are ready to lead, to optimise and execute on strategic projects and will report to the Associate Director Procurement based in Switzerland. You will support the site's operating objectives, ensuring that procedures and processes are securely established to support the site's growth plans.

You will ensure that every supplier relationship is established with the intent of future continuous improvement, and lead and manage the measurement and review process to ensure delivery of expectations.

• Stakeholder Management

You will work in a way that positively engages the support of business colleagues using problem-solving, transparency, and proactive communication skills. You will build sourcing management pipelines, ensuring stakeholder alignment and compliance to supply management processes.

• Sourcing Management

Ensure appropriate sourcing rigor. Compliance to Source Recommendation Committee (SRC), category strategy development, Supplier Performance Management process, and other supply management processes is key.

• Diversity

You will actively support diversity, both within our company as well as expanding relationships and spend with diverse suppliers.

• Business requirements/cost management focus

You must have keen insight and understanding of business requirements on a 1/3/5-year horizon and be capable of working with the wider team as well as strategic business partners to drive reliability of supply and cost reductions. You will implement Supplier Value Management with the key suppliers to foster innovation, manage supplier performance, establish appropriate governance, and ensure continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execution of strategic projects and supporting operating objectives for the Procurement function (Product Sourcing, Supplier Performance Management, Risk Assessment & Mitigation Planning); ensure supply base readiness solutions are securely established.
• Closely partner with stakeholders, Global Procurement, Supplier Development & Performance Management, External Manufacturing Operations, and other business functions to prioritise projects, track progress achieved and to ensure compliance to global standards.
• Support/lead selection of suppliers to ensure productivity improvement and service levels; ensure that all legal contract requirements are met.
• Manage relationships with external contacts to ensure optimal performance and to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve as a resource regarding processes, procedures and systems for the procurement function.
