Job description:

As a Service/Maintenance Engineer you work at two locations that are close to each other. One location mainly houses the sawing machines and the automatic high-rise warehouse, while the other location is the Steel Service center and part of the warehouse. Together with your team, which consists of fifteen colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that the machinery, including 160 overhead cranes, continues to function properly. You play an important role in ensuring that production and deliveries can be met on time.

As a mechanic, your focus is on performing maintenance and resolving malfunctions. You work in a rotation cycle of six weeks: Three weeks you perform maintenance in the day shift (7:30 AM 4:00 PM) and three weeks you focus on breakdowns. You will then work the early shift for a week (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.). You will then work a late shift for a week (2:00 PM 10:00 PM) followed by an on-call shift (10:00 PM 6:00 AM). During the third week of disruptions, you will again work the day shift (7:30 AM 4:00 PM). In the breakdown services you accept the faults and try to solve them. If there are no malfunctions, you perform maintenance work.
