What are you going to do?

You will operate within our Cruise & Ferry team within the Ships department. Your projects will focus on the hydrodynamic propulsive performance of vessels and the integration of future ships’ propulsion and power systems at concept level. You will be in charge of all aspects related to your projects: contact with the client, proposals, project management, technical implementation, interpretation of the results, reporting, but also tool development, acquisition and new business development. We expect you to supervise different types of projects and situations. This will require excellence in using all type of methodologies available at MARIN (numerical and experimental).

Who are we looking for?

An enthusiastic candidate with a degree in maritime technology (or similar), experienced in naval architecture and a lot of affinity with the energy transition. You are service-oriented and customer-focussed and possess strong conceptual skills. You have good advice, reporting and presentation skills. You should also have a good command of the English language and be willing to learn Dutch if that is not your mother tongue. We are also looking for a team player that likes to take initiatives for improvements.
